dreaming of pool days

After battling round 2 of "Snowpocalypse", it's very easy to dream of the South's warmer spring and summer days. Laying by the pool, reading my favorite magazines and catalogs (People StyleWatch, InStyle, J. Crew, and Nordstrom) while sipping on a cool lemonade sounds BEYOND appealing right now. Until then I'm bundled up in my winter's warmest procrastinating from doing homework, and perusing the Lilly Pulitzer spring collection (WHICH IS TO DIE FOR).

The countdown to spring break is totally on, and I'm dying to get to the beach. I decided now would be a great time to share some of my favorite spring/summer/beach necessities. Lilly Pulitzer and anything BRIGHT are my warm weather must haves. I live for sandals, shorts (mainly denim and Lilly Callahans), and airy blouse season.

love is in the air

Valentine's Day is around the corner! Love (and lots of chocolate) is the air!

If you don't have plans (or an outfit) yet, don't worry it's still not too late to grab your boyfriend or best girl friends and plan a memorable night filled with love! Whether your planning on going on a romantic dinner with your significant other or spending a night on the town with your clique, you're going to want to shine in red and pink!

As a Rent the Runway rep, I've learned how much of a blessing it is to have access to hundreds of designer dresses for those special occasions at such reasonable prices. So for Valentine's Day, I wouldn't look anywhere else for the perfect red and pink showstopper! You don't have to have lavish plans; there's no excuse not to feel like a million dollars (without breaking the bank).
